New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Wheatsheaf, a pub, bar or nightclub at Wheatsheaf Inn, Great Lime Road, Palmersville, Newcastle Upon Tyne was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 30.

And Davanti Italia, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 2 Claremont Crescent, Whitley Bay, Tyne And Wear was given a score of four on August 30.
