Food hygiene ratings given to two North Tyneside takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Bengal Spice, at 140 Tynemouth Road, Wallsend, Tyne And Wear was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 3.

And Honey House, at 144 High Street East, Wallsend, Tyne And Wear was given a score of three on February 3.

It means that of North Tyneside's 184 takeaways with ratings, 109 (59%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
