Food hygiene ratings given to two North Tyneside takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New Tung Wah Chop Suey House, at 18 Forest Hall Road, Forest Hall, Newcastle Upon Tyne was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 3.

And Royal Chef, at 36a Spence Terrace, North Shields, Tyne And Wear was given a score of three on March 3.

It means that of North Tyneside's 183 takeaways with ratings, 107 (58%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
