Food hygiene ratings handed to two North Tyneside establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Red House Farm, at The Red House Farm, Hepscott Drive, Whitley Bay, Tyne And Wear was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 9.

And The Jolly Bowman, at Addington Drive, Wallsend, Tyne And Wear was given a score of one on March 9.

It means that of North Tyneside's 144 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 121 (84%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
