New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Wheatsheaf Inn, a pub, bar or nightclub at New York Road, North Shields, Tyne And Wear was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 22.

And Golden Touch, a takeaway at 30 Bridge Street, Seaton Burn, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given a score of two on August 22.
