New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Dom's Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 18 High Street East, Wallsend, Tyne And Wear was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 16.

And Pizza Point - Newcastle \& House Of Sweets/ Candy Crush \& Des, a takeaway at 128 - 130 High Street East, Wallsend, Tyne And Wear was given a score of four on February 14.
