New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of North Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

• Rated 5: New Fordley Jnr at New Fordley Jnrs Football Club, Barras Gardens, Annitsford, Northumberland; rated on May 30

• Rated 5: Costa at Unit 25, Royal Quays Outlet Centre, Coble Dene, North Shields; rated on May 22

Pubs, bars and nightclubs
