Good news as food hygiene ratings given to two North Tyneside restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

The Hub Cafe At Siena Court, at Siena Day Care Centre, 1 Siena Court, North Shields, Tyne And Wear was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 21.

And Nuffield Health And Wellbeing (Restaurant), at Nuffield Health Centre, Gosforth Park Way, Longbenton, Newcastle Upon Tyne was also given a score of five on April 7.

It means that of North Tyneside's 261 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 218 (84%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
