Good news as food hygiene ratings handed to six North Tyneside establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of North Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of North Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Pizza Hut Restaurant at Pizza Hut, Osprey Drive, Silverlink Retail Park, Wallsend; rated on November 6

• Rated 5: House Of Holes at 57 Front Street, Tynemouth, Tyne And Wear; rated on November 2

• Rated 5: Pranzo at 16 Station Road, Whitley Bay, Tyne And Wear; rated on August 3

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: The Fire Station at 18 York Road, Whitley Bay, Tyne And Wear; rated on October 30
