Multiple 'good' ratings given to care services in North Tyneside

Multiple social care services have been given positive ratings in North Tyneside.

The Care Quality Commission is in charge of inspecting social care services across England. The organisation judges care providers across various metrics – with the best possible rating being 'outstanding', and the worst 'inadequate'.

Figures for the last month show a care home was given a new rating in North Tyneside:

• Eothen Residential Homes - Wallsend: Good, last inspected on August 23.

Other social care services in the area were also rated:

• Pinnacle Cares For You Limited: Good, last inspected on November 9.

• Everlasting Care Ltd: Good, last inspected on November 29.

• North Tyneside Shared Lives: Good, last inspected on October 31.

A service is given a 'good' rating when it is judged to be performing well against the CQC's criteria.
