A North Tyneside drinking establishment has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A North Tyneside drinking establishment has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Gibraltar Rock, a pub, bar or nightclub at East Street, Tynemouth, North Shields, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on June 27, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 144 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 127 (88%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
