A North Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Live Well With Cancer, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 38 - 40 Nile Street, North Shields, Tyne And Wear was given the maximum score after assessment on September 12, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 277 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 219 (79%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
