A North Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Ouseburn Coffee Co, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 13 South Parade, Whitley Bay, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on October 5, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 267 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 212 (79%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
