North Tyneside restaurant given new food hygiene rating

A North Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A North Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Sambuca 1, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 10 - 11 Union Quay, North Shields, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on February 17, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 262 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 214 (82%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
