A North Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Soprano's Pizzeria, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 80 High Street East, Wallsend, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on December 19, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 269 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 219 (81%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
