A North Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A North Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Blue Flames Sports Club, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Sports Club At, Whitley Park, Whitley Road, Benton was given the score after assessment on January 27, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 272 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 223 (82%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
