A North Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Shiremoor Adventure Playground, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Shiremoor Adventure Playground Centre, Brenkley Avenue, Shiremoor, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on February 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 274 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 224 (82%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
