A North Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Foda, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 96a Front Street, Whitley Bay, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on October 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 272 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 222 (82%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
