North Tyneside's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:
• A19, from 8pm July 25 to 6am July 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A19 southbound, Moorfarm to Killingworth, carriageway closure for electrical works.
• A19, from 8pm July 26 to 6am July 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A19 northbound, Moor farm to Fisherlane, Lane closure for horticulture works.
• A19, from 10.06am July 29 to 6am August 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A19 northbound and southbound, Moorfarm to Killingworth, carriageway closures and lane closures for critical patching works.
• A1, from midnight, August 2 to 6am October 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A19 northbound and southbound, Moorfarm to Fisher Lane. Carriageway closures, lane closure, with 24 hour speed restrictions and Lay-by closures for carriageway improvment works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
