A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Pablo Eggsgobao, a takeaway at 12 Station Road, Whitley Bay, Tyne And Wear was given the maximum score after assessment on January 30, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 192 takeaways with ratings, 108 (56%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
