A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Umai Mi Bento Box, a takeaway at Unit 1 Dukes Walk, Quorum Business Park, Benton Lane, Longbenton was given the maximum score after assessment on November 21, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 183 takeaways with ratings, 101 (55%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
