North Tyneside takeaway given new food hygiene rating

A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Jordy Chicken, a takeaway at 99 High Street West, Wallsend, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on September 23, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 186 takeaways with ratings, 103 (55%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
