A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Silver Moon Take Away, a takeaway at 106 Grey Street, North Shields, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on April 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 192 takeaways with ratings, 114 (59%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
