A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Lauras Fish Bar, a takeaway at 32 Station Road, Whitley Bay, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on June 9, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 191 takeaways with ratings, 113 (59%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
