A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Prince Of Spice, a takeaway at Unit 4, Addington Drive, Wallsend, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on July 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 191 takeaways with ratings, 114 (60%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
