A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Euro Pizza, a takeaway at 90 High Street East, Wallsend, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on June 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 181 takeaways with ratings, 104 (57%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
