A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Fast Fry, a takeaway at 2 Coast Road, Wallsend, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on March 21, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 186 takeaways with ratings, 108 (58%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
