A North Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Blue Sea Takeaway Inc, a takeaway at 162 High Street East, Wallsend, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on July 17, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Tyneside's 191 takeaways with ratings, 114 (60%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
