Drivers in and around North Tyneside will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A1, from midnight, August 2 to 6am October 23, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A19 northbound and southbound, Moorfarm to Fisher Lane. Carriageway closures, lane closure, with 24 hour speed restrictions and Lay-by closures for carriageway improvment works.
And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A19, from 8pm September 22 to 6am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A19 northbound and southbound, Killingworth to Holystone, Lane closure for drainage works.
• A19, from 8pm September 23 to 6am September 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A19 northbound and southbound, Holystone to Howdon, Lane closure for drainage works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
