New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of South Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of South Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Crown and Anchor, a pub, bar or nightclub at Chapel Road, Jarrow, Tyne & Wear was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 21.

And Mansa Takeaway, a takeaway at 11b Bladen Street Industrial Estate, Bladen Street, Jarrow, Tyne & Wear was given a score of one on September 21.
