Food hygiene ratings given to two South Tyneside takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of South Tyneside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Madasafish, at M & Ms Fisheries, 13 North Guards, Whitburn, Tyne & Wear was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 19.

And Noodle Noodles, at 112 Ocean Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was given a score of zero on July 19.

It means that of South Tyneside's 140 takeaways with ratings, 67 (48%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
