Food hygiene ratings handed to two South Tyneside takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of South Tyneside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of South Tyneside’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Highfield Fisheries, at 100-102 Highfield Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 4.

And Noodle Noodles, at 112 Ocean Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was also given a score of four on November 4.

It means that of South Tyneside's 144 takeaways with ratings, 66 (46%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
