Good news as food hygiene ratings handed to two South Tyneside establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of South Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

The Pier, a pub, bar or nightclub at 140 Ocean Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 15.

And Age Concern Tyneside South, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Dora Dixon House, 29 Beach Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was also given a score of five on July 4.
