South Tyneside establishment handed new food hygiene rating

A South Tyneside drinking establishment has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A South Tyneside drinking establishment has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Derby, a pub, bar or nightclub at 307-309 Prince Edward Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on May 27, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 130 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 78 (60%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
