A South Tyneside drinking establishment has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A South Tyneside drinking establishment has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Harbour Lights, a pub, bar or nightclub at 101 Lawe Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on March 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 125 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 76 (61%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
