South Tyneside restaurant given new food hygiene rating

A South Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The New Sundial, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at The Sundial, Sea Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on April 25, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 193 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 125 (65%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
