A South Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A South Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Santano Pizza & Burger, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 237a Victoria Road East, Hebburn, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on June 19, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 177 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 112 (63%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
