A South Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A South Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Rosies 2, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 15 Ocean Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on March 2, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 192 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 122 (64%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
