

A South Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
The Eastern Touch, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 2 Station Approach, East Boldon, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on March 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 191 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 123 (64%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
