A South Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Coffey By Name, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 80-86 Highfield Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on March 16, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 191 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 123 (64%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
