A South Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A South Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

FOOD IS FUEL, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 10 North Street, North Street, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on May 15, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 177 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 114 (64%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
