South Tyneside takeaway given new food hygiene rating
A South Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A South Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
AKs Diner - 3 Times as Good, a takeaway at 67 Nevinson Avenue, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on March 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 144 takeaways with ratings, 62 (43%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
