South Tyneside takeaway given new food hygiene rating

A South Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A South Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Singh's Fish Bar, a takeaway at 136 Quarry Lane, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on October 11, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 146 takeaways with ratings, 67 (46%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
