A South Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A South Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Sheba's Kitchen, a takeaway at 190 Dean Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on September 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 138 takeaways with ratings, 68 (49%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
