South Tyneside takeaway handed new food hygiene rating

A South Tyneside takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Golden Bull Chippy, a takeaway at 17 Grange Road, Jarrow, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on October 6, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 146 takeaways with ratings, 68 (47%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
