SEO and Trends Writer
I’m an SEO and trends writer for National World creating content for sites across the UK including Edinburgh Evening News, Glasgow World, The Scotsman and People World. I write a variety of national and regional articles but specialise in pop culture, TV, celestial events and what’s on. I am originally from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, but moved to Scotland to study at the University of Stirling for my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. I previously worked in publishing as a Project Manager for Harper Collins, and have done freelance work for Surf Girl Magazine and Cosmopolitan UK. In my time as a writer I have covered a range of topics including breaking news, lifestyle, surfing and entertainment. I also love writing about TV including the shows Outer Banks, Daisy Jones and The Six, and Stranger Things. As part of my work at National World, I wrote content for People World to help build the site’s authority on Google including articles on a range of celebrities like Taylor Swift and Harry Styles. Outside of work, I enjoy surfing and travelling as well as spending time with family and friends. I play guitar and enjoy taking part in the local open mic nights near my home, having loved music from a really young age. My favourite artists range from Jimi Hendrix to Taylor Swift. I love all things Marvel, having read the comics since I was a kid, and just film in general with a strong love of Stranger Things thrown in for good measure.
