Vaccines have long been championed as the way for normal life to resume amid nearly 16 months of restrictions brought on by the Covid pandemic.

It is important to remember to get the same type of Covid vaccine when it comes to the second jab as you had for the first - ie Pfizer both times or AstraZeneca both times.

While there must also be at least an eight week gap between first and second doses of the Covid vaccin to ensure optimum effectiveness in the fight against Covid.

Here’s where you can get your first or second Covid vaccination in Newcastle without having to book an appointment.
