Appeal for help after Head of Steam Tynemouth assault left woman hospitalised

The assault took place at the Head of Steam bar in Tynemouth in September and now Northumbria Police are appealing to the public for help in their investigation.

Officers investigating an assault at the Head of Steam bar in Tynemouth are appealing to the public for help.

Shortly before 12:30 am on Sunday, September 4 it was reported a woman had been assaulted at the Head of Steam pub in Tynemouth. The 22-year-old woman suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital where she was later discharged.

The incident was later reported to police who subsequently launched an investigation. As part of their ongoing enquiries, police have today issued an appeal to the public, asking for their help.
