Chris and Rosie Ramsey appear half asleep on Michael McIntyre BBC show

Geordie podcasting duo, Chris and Rosie Ramsey appeared on BBC Saturday night television show, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show - while half asleep.

The married couple, who share two children together host the incredibly successful podcast, Sh**ged, Married, Annoyed. The pair also present their own comedy show on BBC, simply named The Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show.

Michael McIntyre’s Big Show is a variety and comedy show, hosted by the well-loved comedian Michael McIntyre.

The show, which has run for six series, consists of segments throughout the show such as Send To All, where Michael will send a text (usually something fairly outrageous) from a celebrity’s phone to all of their contacts.

A segment which was introduced in series three is Midnight Gameshow, where Michael McIntyre will surprise a celebrity couple in their bedroom in the middle of the night - with one half of the couple being aware what is going to happen.

The unaware celebrity, will undoubtedly get an incredible shock at being woken up by Michael McIntyre and his crew - and is asked to take part in answering questions and much more, while still half asleep.

On Saturday night’s episode, Chris and Rosie Ramsey were the couple in question being awoken in the middle of the night, with Rosie being aware and Chris being completely surprised.

In the episode, we saw Michael McIntyre sneak into their Northumberland home and wake the couple up to take part in the game.

Chris was asked a variety of questions which included naming three presents Rosie had bought him over the years, answering questions about his wife while being put into MMA holds by MMA fighter Tom Aspinall, and trying to figure out who out of three Darth Vader characters, was actually his own father in costume.

The couple took part in more challenges, and were joined by more celebrity guests in their bedroom such as fellow Geordie, Hairy Biker Si King, Chesney Hawkes, and Chris’ former dance partner on Strictly Come Dancing, Karen Hauer.

Chris posted a clip from the show to his Instagram, with a caption that read: “Worst nightmare I’ve ever had. Must have been something I ate…@rosemarinoramsey stitched me up BIG TIME. Woke up at 1am and had to do a bl**dy game show!”
