Dogs Trust: 13 adorable dogs and puppies up for adoption in the North East

Here are 13 more dogs looking for their forever home in the North East.

Dogs Trust Darlington currently have 47 gorgeous dogs and puppies up for adoption.

The North East centre is looking for lovely people to care and provide the adorable creatures with a second chance and loving home.

Trigger is everything you’d want from a fun-loving Staffy! He loves his walkies and playing with his toys, but his favourite pass time is simply enjoying time with his human friends. He’s a true Staffy and loves attention, and treats, so in no time at all he will be your little shadow. His excitement of the great outdoors can sometimes make him strong on lead but he’s perfectly manageable in capable hands. He is a firm favourite with the staff here at the centre and will be a dream pet for any Staffy lover. (Credit: Dogs Trust)

5. Trigger (Terrier (Staffordshire Bull))

Trigger is everything you’d want from a fun-loving Staffy! He loves his walkies and playing with his toys, but his favourite pass time is simply enjoying time with his human friends. Zeus is the cutest most sweet boy. The way to this boys heart is through his toys. When the toys come out Zeus’ personality just shines through. This is a good way to start your budding friendship! Zeus likes to lean in for some attention and a fuss and likes a cuddle on the sofa if given the chance. He settles well in the house, he is fully housetrained and his favourite past time is stretching out on his bed or investigating the garden. He also loves to play tug games. Zeus is on medication to help his skin due to allergies; this will be something he will be needing long term. Loki needs owners to be around for him for the majority of the day as he doesn’t cope with being alone. New owners will need to be prepared to get him used to being by himself very gradually.
